It's like painting, but with glaze
In terms of skills, glazing pottery is very similar to painting - it's so easy that a child can do it!
In fact, most of our Glazing Workshops are run for children. Get together with some friends on the school holidays and book a private glazing workshop - or you can even book us to come to your childcare centre or school.

The beauty of a Glazing Workshop is that two people can start with the same vessel and create something completely unique through their designs.
I'll teach you to apply the glazes and make sure you know what colours you're using (as unlike paint, they don't always look the same).

Details
Prices vary, as I create ceramics suitable for the age, time allocated, and number of participants for your booking. For example, childcare centres will often have children paint ornaments, whereas older children are usually excited to paint a mug.
During the Workshop
Glazing Workshops run for 1 hour and we provide all clay-related materials. If we've travelled to you, we'll let you know what we need to set up on (usually just chairs and tables).
The clay pieces will have been made and bisque fired for you.
After the Workshop
We will take care of the glaze firing process. In 1 week, your stunning creation(s) will be ready to collect from our market in Agnes Water.
If you’re just visiting and looking for things to do in Agnes Water on holidays, simply cover the postage and we will happily arrange shipping of your items.
